BagAssist, the Lost Baggage Management Solution from SkyAssist is web-based, running on top of SITA's WorldTracer Management System, and fully automates the declaration, tracking, recovery, rush and final delivery processes for lost or damaged baggage.
Lost or damaged baggage is a nightmare for passengers, airlines and ground handlers. When it occurs there are no winners. There are costs for airlines and ground handlers and passengers suffer service disruption.
The aims of BagAssist are twofold, firstly to enhance passenger service recovery by managing the processes efficiently and secondly, to deliver productivity improvements at the airline, airport or groundhandler in order to reduce costs.
